Our outreach mission

The J-RAD Lab is committed to making biomedical research accessible and relevant to communities that are historically excluded from science. Through outreach, we aim to:

• Inspire middle school, high school, and undergraduate students to pursue STEM careers.
• Highlight the journeys of first-generation and underrepresented scientists in our team.
• Build long-term, reciprocal partnerships with schools, educators, and community organizations.

We collaborate with a wide range of UPenn and community organizations that support STEM education, mentorship, and diversity in science.
